Welcome The New Head Cheerleading Coach

8 Jun 2023 from Franklin High School

Dear Franklin Community,

After a thorough search for the new Head Cheerleading Coach, Franklin High School is proud to announce the hiring of Savannah Williams.

Savannah comes to Franklin High School with a great background in Cheer. Her coaching career includes three seasons as a Head Coach at Federal Way High School (FWHS). During her time there she increased participation, performed at assemblies, pep rallies, and halftimes in both football and basketball seasons. In addition, her ability to coach also includes her ability to choreograph dances, which is a skill that is impressive. Another exciting aspect that Savannah brings is the pedigree of competing at the State level. In her last position, Savannah was able to, for the first time in school history, turn her team into a competitive cheer program at the state level and qualify for the state competition. Savannah also brings to the table Nationals experience where a team she coached placed eighth in the nation for their game day routine. This experience and knowledge is something that Franklin Athletics desires and we cannot wait to allow Savannah to get to work with our student-athletes.

Savannah has been well liked by colleagues, peers, and the student athletes everywhere she has been. Please welcome Savannah Williams to the Franklin Community, Franklin High School and the Franklin Cheer Program.

Thank You,
